About us

We’re not a rental company

Seagrape and Driftwood are our second home. We use them ourselves, and rent them out the rest of the year.

Rey and Maddy

The Keys are not somewhere we visit

Rey was born and raised in Key West and lives in Miami now. Maddy grew up in Miami and spent her weekends down here — first at Fiesta Key, then at Layton, ten minutes up the road from Duck Key. Between us that is a lifetime on this stretch of the Overseas Highway.

So we are here often, and not as visitors. We take the boat out to the sandbars, dive Alligator Reef, and eat where we have always eaten. When you ask us where to go, the answer comes from someone who was there last month, not from a brochure.

What that means when you book with us

About the resort: These villas do not include access to Hawks Cay Resort amenities such as the pools or the children’s centre. Facilities open to the public — restaurants, bars, the marina, the spa and water sports — are there for everyone.
